Gene Battifarano
Owner and Licensed Optician
Before opening my optician practice, in 1996, I was a business partner for Focal Point Opticians located on Palisade Avenue for nineteen years.During my career as an optician, I have helped so many patients, some since they were children. Now, these children are parents themselves, bringing in their family for eyewear. Not to mention that I've grown a bit older and watching them grow old with me! My passion for my patients has never diminished, and it is our mission that they leave our office with not only the best and newest designed lenses but also fashionable and safe eye wear. As most of you know, if you can't find me in the office, I'm probably on the golf course. But, rest assured, I am leaving you in good care with Erin, my daughter, and Laurie.
Erin Battifarano
Licensed Optician
I began my career in optics as a receptionist and slowly became more involved in the business aspect of Anderson Eye Care. Perhaps the fact that Gene is my father had something to do with this. Therefore, I decided to pursue a career as a licensed optician. Ten years later, I now manage the optical lab and utilize my optician skills by cutting and inserting lenses in our patient's eyewear. Of course, I am always here to help patients and assist them when choosing their eyewear.
Laurie Luppino
Licensed Optician
I began my career as an optician over thirty years ago after graduating from Rutgers University. After a long hiatus to raise a family, I've returned to and thrilled to be working in the community I was raised. Working as a licensed optician allows me to combine my love for fashion and my skills to help patients in making the best possible selection in eyewear .
